News:

Sunday the 19th October saw four engines in steam for our Autumn Gala, a gorgeous Autumn day with lots of opportunity for good pictures available.

The LNER sentinel made a welcome return to action at Quainton along with the ever popular main line certified 9466.

Visitors enjoyed the views from the signal box which had been opened to the public for the first time.

One of our new members Peter Bush welcomed visitors onto the footplate of Castle Class "Defiant" and reminisced about his life on the footplate in the service of the Great Western Railway.

6989 Wightwick Hall was on display reunited with it's tender for the first time in over 15 years.

The TPO's (Travelling Post Offices) welcomed visitors, who experienced what it was like to sort the post manually before today's automated systems were introduced.
