The highlight of the day is the steam train ride!
Please remember that the time slot on your ticket is NOT for a train ride, it is simply your arrival time. Our train runs up and down the track all day long and you can take a journey as many times as you like, whenever you like! We are officially a steam museum and only have a short running line, about 1/2 mile, so the train goes up and down this length of track twice before stopping at the same platform as where you started. We have it under good authority from those who visit us regularly, that this is perfect for families with young children who have a tendancy to get bored if the train journey is much longer!
