Children Go for £1!

We introduced this offer last summer as we wanted to do our bit to help during these tough times, and we had such good feedback that we thought we would do it again this year!

Running from Wednesday 24th July until Sunday 1st September, you can bring your children to our Steaming Days (not special events) for just £1 each. Under 3s are free anyway.

Steaming Days: This is when we have a full-size steam train in action, ready to take you for a ride up and down our track! We also have miniature ride-on trains which are run by our sister society VAMES, (there is a small £1.50 charge for this per person – under 3s are free). The rest of the site is open including the Railway Museum, the Visitor Centre with Gift Shop and Railway Cafe, and the model trains are usually running too. Summer Holiday Steaming Days are most Sundays* and Wednesdays during school holidays

Book tickets online or you can just buy your tickets on the gate when you get here. Doors open at 10.30am, close at 5pm. Last admissions 3pm.
