The 2025 Steaming Season runs from Sunday 6th April until Sunday 26th October.

Please note, on weekdays* only the Cafe and Gift Shop are open. The rest of the site, including the museum and bookshop, are closed; and there are no train rides. Entry is free on these days. 

(* Some Wednesdays in the school holidays are Steaming Days; please check our Calendar of Events to confirm.)
