Looking for an enchanting vintage wedding venue for your wedding?

If you are considering unique wedding venues in Buckinghamshire, we have one of the most unusual wedding venues in England! A stunning vintage railway site with a dedicated private area for your ceremony, sit-down meal and wedding party. Set in the heart of beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, we host civil ceremonies and wedding receptions in our stunning glass-roofed railway venue, which forms an impressive backdrop for any wedding – resulting in stunning wedding photos and nostalgic videos as you can see from our impressive photo gallery.

If you are on the lookout for large wedding venues to accommodate all your wedding guests, we seat up to 150 people for a sit-down meal, and there is a large dance floor for celebrations afterwards. Your guests can even enjoy a steam train ride which makes us one of the most memorable and unusual wedding venues! The stunning 25-acre site offers endless photo opportunities and will be closed to the public for your wedding so that you and your guests can enjoy the space privately.

We believe couples should be able to have complete control of their wedding day and so we offer a flexible service as a wedding venue without catering restrictions. When you choose us for your wedding venue and ceremony, you only pay for the wedding venue hire, tables and chairs. We include our fantastic sound and lighting system and can also offer white bunting within this cost, and everything else is over to you, using your own choice of suppliers, or even as a ‘do it yourself wedding’. You are even free to decorate the venue however you wish, our stunning high glass roof has rafters which lend themselves perfectly for bunting, many couples have co-ordinated their décor with their own wedding colour schemes and provided their own.

We consider ourselves as one of the best UK wedding venues for couples looking to do something positive for the preservation of British heritage sites and for the support of local community projects. When you choose our bespoke wedding venue you are contributing towards the sustainability of site and ensure that all of the fantastic projects continue. If you would like to learn more about what is happening at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre click here.  Our wedding venue Rewley Road took 4 years to rebuild and was funded by £4 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the University of Oxford. Rewley Road, was formerly the Oxford Rewley Road station dating back to 1851. It was dismantled, moved and re-erected to its current location at Quainton in 2001, providing a stunning venue for a wedding, with its glass roof giving beautiful lighting.

We consider ourselves one of the best unique wedding venues in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, due to our dedicated staff and caring customer ethos – we want your day to be perfect for you and will strive to ensure you are completely happy with the result. Buckinghamshire wedding venues benefit from magnificent open countryside settings and natural features, and we are no different… within our magnificent 25 acre heritage setting (which gives you a unique wedding vibe from the industrial revolution) you will find large green spaces offering outstanding natural beauty to offer variety to your wedding photos.

“We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the centre. Emma was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. We loved this venue as it requires very little room dressing due to all the items already in the centre. we were also lucky enough to have a steam engine on the day as well for our guests to ride on after the ceremony. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for something a little different on their special day” Emma and Nick

“We got married at the railway centre in May and it was the best place in the world. The centre itself is just fantastic for a wedding – you get to choose all your own suppliers, nobody is shifted around whilst rooms are turned over, the outside is lovely and the train…well, we had some very excited grown up male guests who queued to pull the whistle. Emma was a fantastic support to us on the lead up, including the day before and the actual day (thank you for the milk!). All the staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. So glad we chose to do our wedding here – you should do yours too!” Lauren (and groom’s name)

“One of the best unique wedding venues to hire if you live near London – we have family based near Aylesbury who suggested the Railway centre as it was one of the only wedding venues for 150 guests. When we visited the centre, which had been set up for a wedding, we fell in love with it! We had been looking at more traditional wedding venues before our visit. Our own wedding day didn’t disappoint and we were treated really well by the events team and catering staff on the day. The events team even made contact after our wedding to check that everything had been as we expected. Highly recommended!” –  Anita and Ravi

“Our dream venue in every way! We were looking for somewhere unique, relaxed, bright and flexible and that’s exactly what we got (and more!). I think every guest commented on what a stunning and fun venue it was (we took advantage of having the steam train running for guests and used the outdoor space to have garden games and space hoppers). It was great to be able to tailor the day and venue to suit us exactly. The venue can be dressed as you like but we kept things simple to show off the beauty of the venue and surroundings. We had brilliant suppliers, some from suggestion of the venue and some we found ourselves. Emma was wonderful to work with, really keen to make our dream day a reality and so accommodating when we had to rearrange twice due to the pandemic, I’m sure she must have been brilliant on the day too as it all came together like magic and we didn’t have to do a thing!” – Jade and Russ

“We loved every moment of our special day! We were always looking for different wedding venues, but a lot of the most unique wedding venues were out of our budget as they had quite strict package options. We looked into do it yourself options and liked that fact that Bucks Railway Centre allowed us to choose our own suppliers and decorate the venue ourselves. Our day was extremely special for everyone who attended, the train ride was especially memorable, and we have lots of stunning photos and videos which we will treasure forever. Thank you to the Railway centre and all staff who helped on the day” – Karen and Peter
